Jessie Chu

I'm Jessie Chu, a Taiwanese-Canadian educator and the program director of "Medicine Hat Learn Mandarin Chinese." I came to Canada in 2000, and obtained my B.Ed. from University of Alberta. With over 15 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to teaching Mandarin to the students across the provinces.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family for every little things we do together, whether it's a leisurely walk in nature, sharing laughter over anime, or creating sweet memories through baking. A little secret about me: I find immense satisfaction in making my own bags, pants, and skirts through sewing.

While rooted in Canada, my heart has a special place for Taiwan, especially the vibrant night markets and the delicious food.I love sharing the beauty of this cultural gem with others. If you're ever curious about Mandarin or want to explore the richness of Taiwanese culture, I'm here for you!
